How do you pronounce Le Cellier?

I have heard it pronounced "Lay-Sell-Yair" and "Lay-Sell-Yay", both by guests and CMs. I don't think you'd be mocked if you pronounced it either way.

Le Cellier is "Ler cell-y-air", the cellar (masculine).

I think it's pretty clear from this thread that you aren't going to sound "stupid" no matter how you pronounce it, so don't sweat it! Personally I say "luh sell-ee-ay" - and while those 6 years of French class were a long time ago I'm pretty sure I'm not too far off.

"Ler" is incorrect! Just say "Le" (no r sound at the end). They may say it, but it's not correct.

The French way (France) is Lay-sell-yay.

The French-Canadian (told to me by the last 4 servers I had there) is Le (lay)-sell-e-ay. The E was pronounced sharply, but quick.

I had a CM on the dining line one time try to convince me that it was pronounced like - Lou-Sell-Who-E-Air. She was telling me that she was proficient in French.
