I'm not sure, I think you might have to post a link to your pics on a web site ( photo bucket, snapfish) You might post this on the tech board http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=43 it might get answered faster there.
I use Photobucket and love it. I know it is the easiest way for me and the only way I would ever be able to do it. I upload my pics on my computer from my digital camera onto photobucket by "browsing" for them and then "uploading" them. If you are on their site doing this, it will make sense.
Then once they are "uploaded" I just copy the image code into my reply.
One tip, when you save your pics onto your computer, save them at maybe 50% before you transfer them over to photobucket. For me, this makes them just the right size for dis.
ok, maybe it is my photo site, and i will try the site. Dumb question for computer iliterate! How do you change the pic to 50%. also, anyway to change the pixels? I have some that i would like to change to higher resolution.
I use http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm. You can down load the software and then open it up. Go to load picture and find the pic you want to use. Right below that you can pic what size you want it to be. There is a list of diff. sizes on there. You will see it when you install it. If you have any questions just Pm me or post again.

My photos download from my camera into Kodak easyshare. When I pick a certain picture and hit to save it I have the option of saving it a full size, 75%, 50%, "best for web", "best for email", etc. For the boards, my fave size to post is 50%. So I name the pic and save it at 50%. Then I go into photobucket and upload the pic into there. I am sooo not literate with this stuff! I know how it feels to not be able to figure stuff out. So I really want to help.
As far as the actual pixels, I kind of figured that was just set by your camera type. I didnt' think you could change that. But I don't have any idea about that stuff.
That is what happened to me but I was copying the wrong URL line. After you upload your picture from your computer (I am using photobucket) scroll down towards the bottom of the screen. You will see the pictures you just uploaded and under each picture you will see three links. Click on the "IMG code" line, it will say copied. Then you can paste that line into your response.

But not sure who to help, because it seems several of you are trying to figure this out at once and I am not sure of who is having what troubles. Let me know if I can help. P.S. I use photobucket.
Once you get your photos uploaded to photobucket, right click on the bottom link below the photo and click on copy, then come back to your post and right click and click paste. Then when you view your post it should be there or close out of the post and come back to it, it should be there. Let me know if I can help further.
