So we must have a deep sickness. I don't know what DH and I are thinking, but we are planning 4 trips to be done in the next 9 months:scared1: . We are lucky though that we can do this and that we live 4 hours from the best place on earth:love:

So who are these sick people? You have me, the wife and mother, DH my love and the father (Eeyore and Donald) 4 kiddos who are 14, 9, 8 and 3 right now. Will be adding in our best friends (Tigger and Grumpy) and then Donalds parental units.

We bought into DVC this past June,:wizard: therefore we had these incentive points to use, so hey....lets take all the kids to Disney for Christmas!!!:santa: And within 6 weeks we got addonitis, so we added on 100 more points. This ten added on days to planned trips and then another trip was added. HAVE TO USE THE POINTS!!!!!!!

The first trip is a total surprise for the kids. It is actually their big Christmas gift this year. We are actually going before Christmas since this late in the game you can not get a 2bdr the week of Christmas anywhere. We will be in the world Dec 14-16. Just a quick trip, but hey crowds will be low, so it will be easier to do more!:rolleyes1

The second planned trip is for March 29-April 3 at SSR with our best friends. This is an adults only trip and their first. They thought I was nuts when we came up with this brilliant plan in May and I told them the planning that goes into it. Then they took a day trip to Orlando planning to go to Sea World. They made it as far as DTD:lmao: When they called me they understood what I meant by planning was needed:confused: and that was just from DTD:rolleyes: :rotfl2:

The third trip being planned is for May 31-June 6 at AKV. We booked a 2 bdr Savanna view at Kidani. That trip includes my little family of six and Donalds parental units:grouphug: The parental units have never been either. So this means the DIL (me) gets to plan the whole thing for everyone:scared: But at least there is 8 of us and that qualifies us for the Grand Gathering stuff:dance3: and this would be my MIL with everything I am sending her:surfweb:

The fourth trip came up today:goodvibes We realised that the kids would be out of state with family members over New Years. Mommy and Daddys anniversary:cloud9:  So we get the bright idea  to call DVC member services and see if we can get a studio over New Years.....I am sure that CM was doing her best not to laugh:rolleyes1 So now we have the night of the 31st offsite, the night of the 1st at ASMo and the 2nd and 3rd at SSR.

After all this we still have points left:scared: from the incentives and our regular contract.:yay:

Now....how do I keep all the dining straight and will everyone be ok with what I am choosing:eek: :confused3

So my loverly DH and I have been evil evil parents. We have only taken the youngest child wtih us twice when he was 2 (he was a freebie) and we took all the kids to MVMCP last year. That is all.....they have not ,all four of them together, been to the World. We are evil, pure evil I tell ya.

Not really though, they are spolied rotten (well loved actually) and this place has been just for me and DH. But this year we have decided to share. But we will take it back to just us if we have to.:lmao: If they don't behave on the trips, we don't have to take them back.

My MIL is a breast cancer survivor:woohoo:  . She was diagnosed in December 2006 and just had her last reconstruction surgery:banana: :woohoo: And her birthday is in June. The trip we have planned with them is a celebration of her remission and her birthday. I have so many things up my sleeve she will cry. That is my goal, to make her cry tears of joy and realise she does truly love me:love:

So the June trip has to be planned to perfection. Every meal, every day...must be good. Yes, I knw setting myself up for dissapointment, but it will be fun planning it. I also just realised the baby will be 4 then and he can go on the pirate cruisepirate: So I plan on sending him and 2 sisters out on a boat:cool1:

I am so looking forward to June...worried about March. My best friend and I recently found out her older sister is pregnant. When is she due? End of March, beginning of April. So they may not even make it on the trip.popcorn:: But she will have to be a c-section since her doctor doesn't do VBAC....hopefully the baby can come March 26th or April 5th. Here's to hoping...............

Today was a day of more decisions and planning for the April trip. We just know that our best friends will not be making the trip. Which is fine.....that just means we will go to Disneyland!!!!:cool1:

Donald hasn't been there in 29 years and I haven't been there in 21 years. We were just little the last time either of us went. So I mosied on down to the DL section of the boards and OMG!!!! How totally different can these 2 places be? I don't have to fret over ADR's 6 months out? I can buy a 2 day ticket and its a PH? WHAT!!!!???:scared1:

I found this amazing thread full of all kinds of information. I would never have had an idea that planning a trip there is so simplisitc compared to WDW. My only concern is the car rental and making it to DLR in one piece and it not taking a day to get there.

We have decided that we will stay at the Grand Californian if we do go. It is connected to DCA:worship: I want to go to a beach while I am there just to see it. Nothing for Cali is set in stone and I may not know anything for sure for a few more months.

The June trips ADr's have been approved by my MIL. That was a relief. But now I am changing things up. I don't want to take the kids out of the park to do breakfast at Boma. Dh despises Tusker House. He says it was dirty to him. I told him he was nuts and seemed to have missed the whole African village thing:confused3 Comes down to he didn't like where our table was and felt over crowded. That I could agree with.

Our table was kind of by the doors to the dining room/food room and by a pole. It was crowded and right next to the little parade/dance they do with the kids. Not a lot of room to move.:crowded:

I will go into all the dining plans later...I really need to get to sleep since I have to be to work in 7 hours:sad2: and I will be :surfweb: :coffee: at work all day.
