How do you perceive yourself?

On the DISboards, that is. What kind of poster do you think you are? Do you think you come across as funny, smart, rational, rude, sensitive, a drama queen, a trouble maker? I'm curious to see if the way people view themselves is the way others view them. (Of course, if it's not we will keep that to ourselves, right everybody?)

I try to see all sides of an issue and I generally feel few things in life are strictly black or white, therefore, I'm usually acknowledging both sides of an argument in my posts. When I do take a hard stance on something, I do so with lots (maybe too much) of explanation, evidence, and/or examples for why I think the way I do. I always make an effort to be respectful, calm, and PC in my responses even if that's not how I'm feeling. My words go through a lot of filtering by the time I submit a post so, for that reason, I probably come across as pretty even-keeled. But I'll fully admit, sometimes I throw in a little snark just for fun.

I hope I'm seen as nice and caring. I try to stand up for others. I try to see both sides of an issues.

My hope is that come across as a nice person who is reasonable and fun.

I will state my opinion, but I try my best to do so with tact and care. Although if you reply with a sharp tongue, I will jab back sometimes. :o (I'll blame that on my short girl complex.)

I attempt to be comical from time to time, but my humor is dry so it typically doesn't read well.

A horrible speller! LOL! My keyboard is sometimes weird and leaves letters or even space out. Drives me nuts, but sometimes I hit post before I reread my post. Then, I have to edit the post. LOL!!

I'm the worst speller on the planet. AGH

I think that I could give you a run for your money. You know it is bad when spellcheck doesn't even give you any suggestions!

I try to be nice and respectful. I don't like arguing at all. I like debating and discussing things with people who are open to it. It might depend on the thread how I come across. Hopefully, nobody is holding a grudge. :p

I hope I come across as reasonable and respectful. I often have strong opinions but try to see things from lots of angles and try to be respectful of others and explain my opinions in nice ways.

I also know I can be long winded--I am working on that, but it is hard to make a short post and not come across as curt or rude (well, it is hard for me to do that)

And I am a terrible typist! So there tend to be many errors, especially if I am posting while trying to get other things done as well and do not take time to really proof read.

I think I come across differently now than I did a few years ago. I've grown up quite a bit in some ways, not so much in others.

I'm honest, but maybe to a fault.

I'm sure many see me as dumb and naive. I can be, but sometimes I also have a hard time putting my thoughts into understandable terms and can be misunderstood.

I think I fall into " Tink/Brat" territory...sassy~ but no harm meant. I do try to offer actual help on subjects that I have actual knowledge on (which ain't much, lol) I am the same here as I am IRL, only skinnier :rolleyes1
and like NHdisneylover, my typing skills leave much to be desired~thanks for putting up with it all these years!
