How do you pay your bills?

We pay most of our monthly bills via the internet. It makes it so much quicker & easier for us. We only have a couple of bills a month that we pay by check. I was just wondering if most people are doing it this way now?

Mostly online. I have one that has to be mailed out though and my monthly car insurance gets paid in cash at the insurance office.

Most via Quicken or direct withdrawal. I rarely, very rarely, write a check.

Pretty much do everything online - much easier this way. My secretary at work thinks I'm nuts because I always have to ask her how much postage is...I never use snail mail anymore...I think the stamps in my purse are probably collector's items by now...

I still write checks. My philosophy is the "part with no dime before its time", so I have a sense that the money is still mine until it clears. Any bill that I can pay with American Express, I do. I get double miles for my cell phone bill. Cable takes Amex, my heating oil goes on Amex, etc. So the bottom line is, if I can't charge it, I write a check.

I pay what I can online. So much easier than writing those checks out! Unfortunately, I dislike writing checks so much that I keep putting them off. Not good sometimes!

Either online or over the phone with my deit card. I rarely write checks. If the newspaper guy comes by the house, he might get a check if I don't have cash...same for delivery food.

I do a little of everything - There are three that I routinely have been paying online, a few that I can drop off locally and still a few others that are out of town and must be mailed.

Seriously tho, I still use the ancient form of check writing...if for no other reason than to see my adorable Disney checks over and over again! Then I carefully place them in snail mail. I usually end up paying our bills while I wait in line to pick DS up from school...can't really do that w/out a laptop to pay online.

We pay most of our bills online. The car payments come out of the checking account automatically. The only check I write is for a storage unit. But I don't mail that, I drop it off. I actually went for a stamp today and they were .33 Christmas stamps!!!!
