How do you pay for excursions?

I was wondering whether excursions are paid from the credit card you provide on board or if you have on board credit, will they take it out of that? I have a redemption rewards card, so I wanted to see if I could use that for my excursion. Thank you!

DCL excursions are charged to your onboard account. So if you have OBC, that can be used to pay for them. You can add gift cards, or your Disney Rewards card, to your onboard account to pay for the excursions. Any balance would be paid with the credit card you put on file.
