How do you pay for DDP?

I think I have how the plan works figured out, but how do you pay for it? Do you pay when you make your initial deposit with your room ressie, when you get there, or upon checkout? Just trying to figure out how much cash I need up front. Thanks from a DDP newbie!! Oh, one more thing. Do we get an entire days worth of credits for the day we check in and the day we check out? Thanks again.

It's included in your package total when you book it if you ask for the DDP.
Also you ddp starts the day u ck in with a full day of credits.

You pay for it when you check in. I was told by DVC member services that you need to let them know 48 hrs in advance if you are doing the dining plan. I guess you could do that by calling the dining number.

You are given credits based on how many nights you stay. If you stay 5 nights, then you get 5 TS, 5 Cs and 5 snacks and they expire midnight on your departure day. This is also assuming you are doing the regular dining plan.

There are two ways to get it:

1) As a regular resort guest, it needs to be included in your package, with a minimum one-day park ticket purchase. (Possible exception on that last point for annual pass holders.) It's paid for when you make you package payment (or adjusted payment if making changes after final payment.)

2) As a DVC member/guest/renter, you pay at check-in, but you need to notify the resort 48 hours prior to check-in. There is no ticket purchase requirement for DVC stays.

As to what you get, and when, you get the package entitlements per night of your stay, not per day. They are pooled together, meaning you can use as many as you like on any given day, and are available immediately upon check-in until midnight of your check-out day.
