How do you pass the time the day before your vacation?

I leave tomorrow morning and I am going crazy today. I've already packed, cleaned the house, threw away food that will go bad, done my laundry, mowed the lawn, over chlorinated the spa, took out the trash, gone over my itinerary a dozen times, looked over my Disney maps, read every DIS thread, etc, etc, etc AND it's only 4pm. :sad2:

This is torture. I have to be up at 3:30am for my flight but still have a few hours to kill before I can go to sleep, IF I can sleep I'm so excited and nervous.

Any tips to make the clock speed up?

:thumbsup2 I work all day and then skip across the parking lot...and blare my Disney music like Wishes on my Bose speakers. I always try to get DH to leave the night before we check in...so we are there before we need to be...makes perfect sense to me...I feel your pain. :hyper:

A nice relaxing early dinner followed by a movie at home or out helps pass the time. Sometimes we go to our favorite wine shop that has wine tasting events on Friday nights. Is a nice way to unwind and start the vacation.

I am usually packing, second guessing outfit choices, running to Target for last minute toiletries, and going over reservations.
I think the day before my husband and I leave for our "alone" trip in March, I'm going to surprise him with massages and dinner. It will start the trip off wonderfully!!!!!:cool1:
29 trips to Disney World and counting...next stop POFQ March 2014:joker:pixiedust:

I like to download movies/books for my iPad so I have something to do at the airport or while I am flying.

I like to travel mid-wk and work usually is such a bear before vacation that I end up packing the night before we leave. Then I re-pack about an hour later because I thought of stuff I forgot. Then I try and read a book but I am constantly thinking of items that I forgot. I use to open a suitcase about a week ahead to throw stuff in and I've got to get back to that.

Guess I don't have this problem because I'm always out of time.

Watch the Disney promo DVD and do a last minute check for attractions I don't want to miss. ::yes::

I always have the best of intentions for the day before leaving on a trip. I always think I'm going to take the time to relax, going over our trip itinerary, or enjoying a nice dinner out, but I always end up working late or making late-night runs to a store to get some last-minute items for the trip. It never fails.

Same here! I usually get panicky that there is not enough time to get all the details taken care before heading out!

I steal everyone's shift so I work all day. I'm a server which means every table I wait on is something extra towards the trip - as long as I don't get stiffed :goodvibes

Hah! My husband and I leave Saturday EARLY, and I'm already in a frenzy. House is clean, laundry is just about done, fridge is emptied, mail is on hold... Now I'm reading the boards and just about to levitate off my desk chair in excitement.

And I sort of have the Frozen soundtrack on repeat. >.>
