I'm trying to figure out the best way to organize all my stuff. If you don't mind sharing I'm all ears!
Thanks,
Kerri

I send all my email confirmations to a virtual folder and about a week before we leave, I print all the confirmation sheets and stick them in a manila envelope, which goes in my carry-on bag. I like using a virtual folder because I can quickly go into it from any computer.

Nothing special with packing, though I do stash some plastic grocery bags so I can use them to hold dirty laundry for the trip home. *slow applause for originality* :rotfl2:

Plastic toiletry bottles that leak from changes in cabin pressure can benefit with the application of thread sealant tape (PTFE tape) from the hardware store. Unscrew the lid, wrap several layers of tape over the threading and screw the lid back on.

Oh, and I bring some extra zip lock bags for unfinished candies bought at the park.

I used to have printouts of things and get those all organized, but I have switched to loading it all up in my Gmail for easy phone access. I put each day's schedule with reservation times/numbers/locations and all useful phone numbers each into their own email and I send it to both myself and my hubby (in case a phone dies or is lost). I also do a one page printout with our schedule and reservation numbers on it then stick it in my suitcase as a backup. Once we get our tickets, I take a photo of each one's barcode info in case we lose them.

For packing - we believe that less is more. We always have ziplocks and a trash bag for dirty clothes as PP mentioned and we always, always have 2 pairs of shoes each. Beyond that, it's required clothes and toiletries. In the winter, we make sure to bring cheap Ponchos so we don't have to buy them in park and a blanket to reserve our spot on Fantasmic/Parade day. In the parks I never carry more than a fanny pack sized bag (sometimes it actually is a Fanny Pack - fashion police don't patrol the parks!) and a water bottle in a water bottle sling.

I have a special "Vacation Binder" that I use.

It is a normal paper size, with 3 clasps and is plastic, and has special spaces in the front and back so papers don't flop around. I have the clear page protectors in it. I even toss the Unofficial Guide to Disney into a page protector. I am a type A personality, and like to be organized. I also am the type that needs to have a lanyard around my neck so I can see my tickets, otherwise I worry that they are lost (maybe a bit of OCD/Anxiety in that quirk, LOL).

We don't have tickets or anything to worry about - everything seems to be printed at home.

I keep this in my carry-on bag. Daily I just take out whatever papers we need.

I also have an accordion style expanding file for all of our stuff, and a thin file for daily things we take into the park.

Excellent ideas!

I have a small plastic coupon holder that I use for restaurant coupons,Grayline coupon, mousekeeping envelopes, traveller's cheques, passports.I leave that in the safe and take out what I need each day.
Love the phone idea for storing reservations in addition to my paper copies. This thread makes my heart beat a little faster as it is getting closer to start taking care of these little details.:cool1:

I use the TripIt app, it's an excellent way to have all your reservations stored in one place. I do have a folder I use to keep all paper things, check lists, tickets, maps, etc.

Where are you finding coupons?
Thanks,
Kerri

Here ya go! Just scroll down the page for dining discounts, transportation, tours.

I love the Grayline coupon.I purchase the return trip with coupon and it get's the three of us a return trip from LAX to DLR for $74:woohoo:

I have a "Disney Binder" that's just a school binder with dividers. Very Old Skool! Lol

My dividers are labeled:
To Do
Schedules
Maps
Hotel
Air
Car
Tickets
Misc

Anytime I make reservations, I just print & file. I keep everything in here & months out, I start on my "to do" list. Super easy to keep it all organized & know what I have left to do.

Coupons are everywhere! The Anaheim Go site, if you have an Entertainment Card, check out local tourism sites, join restaurant clubs- I love MiMi's! San Diego is currently offering FREE admission for kids to many attractions. Just be careful with these because most expire within a couple weeks. So you'll want to sign up close to your travel dates. ;)

I make a small booklet and coil bind it. It has everything in it. I shrink-copy any reservation info for hotels and those are bound with the rest of the booklet. Ticket vouchers are kept in a small plastic pouch that then fits into an envelope page.

I'm really super anal about this and spend hours and hours making that booklet.

I try to be as organized as possible, but there is always room to improve...
