How do you make

2 lbs. ground beef

A few good shakes of bread crumbs

2 eggs

1 can tomato sauce

1 medium size green pepper diced

1 small onion diced

Occasionally a little red pepper diced

Mix up, mold, bake for 1 hour at 375. :)

just tell the waitress "I'll have the meatloaf"

3 - 4 lbs ground beef (lean)

season bread crumbs

3 eggs

chopped onion

handful of parmasian cheese - grated

salt, pepper Italian seasonings

mix together all ingredients with your bare hands

form into a loaf

place in shallow baking pan

Pour a large can of crushed tomatoes over the top

Sprinkle some more cheese, bread crumbs and salt and pepper

Bake at 375 until done.

I occasionally baste the loaf with the sauce in pan, sometimes adding a bit of water to keep from drying out in the bottom of the pan.

This is a family favorite. Also the leftovers make great sandwiches.

2# ground beef
1# ground sausage
1 cup dried bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 small onion diced
1 clove chopped garlic

mix well and shape into a loaf. Cover with ketchup and bake!

Very plain and basic but we really like it!

I had a bad meat loaf experience 10 years ago.
I want to try it again, but I'm so afraid and it's hard to find a premade ground turkey meatloaf.

Ground beef (5-10% fat only)
Heinz 57 sauce
Breadcrumbs
Salt
Pepper
Egg

Mix it all together, eyeballing everything but adding in lots of 57 sauce. Mold, throw in a pan, bake at 350 for about 45 minutes or until done. When it has about 15 minutes left, I pour 57 sauce across the top.

Yum.

2lbs ground beef
bread crumbs (usually about 2 pieces of bread)
2 eggs
salsa (I don't know how much maybe 1/2 cup give or take)
chopped onion
chopped garlic (or some garlic powder if I don't have fresh)
few shakes of worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper

if I"m feeling adventurous I chopped some carrots and add them too. my ds is pretty anti vegatable so he'll eat that if I mix them in

I don't measure, just throw things togther and mush up until it feels right.

1 - 1.5 lbs. of lean ground beef)
1 egg
unseasoned bread crumbs
minced garlic (from a jar)
1/2 envelope of Lipton's dried soup mix (beefy onion mushroom usually)
a little worcestershire sauce
cubed sweet pepper (green/red or both -- whatever I have)
diced sweet onion

mix up with hands then pat into loaf form and place on a baking rake on a cookie sheet. I like lots of crust on mine. Bake at 350 until done (35-45 min.) Take from oven and let rest 10 min. Heat grill pan or George Forman grill. Take slices of baked meatloaf and grill until lines appear. Serve with brown gravy and mashed potatos. Grilling may seem like an extra unneeded step, but the best meatloaf I ever had at a restaurant was fixed this way. I don't like tomato/ketsup meatloaf like my mom makes.

Jockaroo used my secret ingredient!! Onion Soup!

My aunt makes the BEST meatloaf ever! She was a cook for a girl's home and only made large amounts of food and used all kinds of shortcuts to make them. She used dried onion soup in lots of stuff, a great flavoring.

Her meatloaf consists of

Ground Beef
One packet per pound of beef
1/2 cup water
Hickory flavored BBQ sauce
One egg

Mix together with your hands (important utensil), pat down HALF into a large oven safe pan. THEN

Sprinkle 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese on top of the first half

THEN add the second half on top. Squeeze the two parts together and bake for 45 mins to an hour, top with a bit more of the BBQ sauce. Comes out moist and tender every time!

Notice I did not add the bread. For some reason it seems like unnecessary carbs!

Ground Beef with 2 eggs per lb.
3 tablespoons of ketchup
1/2 small onion
1 cup of italian breadcrumb
1 cup of parmesan cheese
pepper to taste

In the oven for 1 hour at 350

Mine is your basic meatloaf ingredients but I use 1lb ground beef and 1/2 lb pork sausage. Also, instead of breadcrumbs, I use dry seasoned stuffing, like Stovetop.

I make Italian Meatloaf.....

ground beef
sundried tomatoes
onion, garlic, italian spices
some breadcrumbs
an egg
provelone cheese
ketchup or bbq sauce
fresh basil

So yummy!!! I havne't made it for awhile--I'll have to do that.

1-1.5 lbd ground beef,
1 tube crackers, (saltines) chopped into crumbs in food processor,
to crumbs add 1 tbs cajun seasoning, 2 cloves fresh garlic, 1/2 small onion, 2 eggs and mix in proccessor
chop other half of onion,
1/2 bell pepper into small bits,
add this to ground beef with seasoned crumbs and egg
mix with hands,
form into loaf and lightly drizzle worchestershire over top
bake 1- 2 hours at 350
top with ketchup then bake an additional 15 min
slice and serve
( by mixing crumbs/egg and seasonings in processor its much easier to blend into the beef:)
