How do you make tuna salad?

Apples?? I'm going to have to try that

Seems like a lot of people put egg in their tuna salad, sounds kinda gross to me but to eat their own. Is the egg cooked I'm guessing? I don't eat eggs (unless it's cleverly disguised in a cookie or cake ) so I'm not about to try it but I'm wondering about that...

Tuna Salad
1 can tuna in oil drained
1 can tuna in water drained
Blue Plate Mayo
small squeeze of brown mustard
chopped Claussen kosher dill pickles

Eat with cheese and crackers, on rye toast, or on lettuce

Chicken Salad
chopped chicken breast
Mayo
slivered almonds
chopped ripe mango

Great. Now I want a tuna fish sandwich. Probably the only thing we did not pack in the camper--tuna salad stuff. Where am I supposed to get a good tuna sandwich at Disney World?

Mmm...I love tuna sandwhiches.

Here is what I put in mine:
White Tuna in Water (drained)
Sweet Relish
Fat-Free Mayo
Boiled Egg
Apple
Lemon Juice

If I feel like a warm sandwhich I toast a bagel, put a slice of provolone on it, then put on the tuna and stick it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Soooo good!

regular tuna in water
Miracle Whip light
pickle relish (or chopped up pickles, if I'm feeling ambitious)
Hard boiled egg
onion - just a wee bit

I don't measure. I just mix it up. Like it best on toast (wheat is what I keep in the house), but the mini-bagels will do in a pinch. (I always get mini-bagels. Bit bagels are too much bagel.)

What is it about the early months in the year that makes people crave tunafish salad?

This is how my momma taught me to make it, with the exception of relish and the addition of crunch.

Tuna in packed in spring water, drained and squeezed and wrung out
Miracle Whip
Tartar sauce
Pine nuts (as an alternative to pine nuts, I might add chopped apple, slivered almonds, or chopped walnuts)

Served on some kind of really yummy bread, toasted, with lettuce, cheese and tomato. And salt and vinegar potato chips!
