Ya know. The time between now, and your WDW trip. I have exactly 76 days left, and I need them to swish by. I work, I do my school things, I hang with my friends. But everything goes by sooooo slowly. Is there anything you do, this far in advance to make the time pass? Big projects you take on? Or new hobbies? Anything.

And yeah, I know we have a thread like this, but 76 days and 9 days are a lot of difference.

I'm usually at school. I make a countdown in my agenda. Somehow it makes the time go faster for me.

I also read our Birnbaum Disney World book. It gets me in the mood. :]

i call it school.
and also i have sparky and an upcoming paris trip which i'm counting down first.

I wish it was closer. I wish it was closer.

I've been crash reading all these trip reports, and dining reports, and trip planning florums and such. It's just making me double excited and more anxious.

just tell yourself "my trip is closer than sam's" xD

I have like 600 days left.

When my parents told me that we were going to DLR, I was young so I passed the time by playing with Barbie dolls, so I can't give you any personal waiting-for-disney tips that will be useful to you :rotfl:

But if I were in your situation now, I would get a few good books to read and throw myself into working and earning volunteer hours. Cooking always seems to pass the time as well. When I'm bored I cook a meal for the family, or bake cookies or muffins.

I hope the time doesn't pass too slowly for ya. And I hope you have a wonderful Disney trip :)

Ugh I cook almost every night for my family. And I really have been throwing myself into work...Just this week I had the entire week off, and it passed sooo slowly.

I just put it out of my head. I don't have a great concept of time, so it feels like it moves by very fast-if i'm not thinking about what I want.

I put a countdown on my MSN.
It seems slow at first, but once you get there, it's like WHERE HAVE THE DAYS GONE?

But if that doesn't work for you, do as Shelby said. Put it out of your mind, and focus on other things.
Try getting into a tv series or a book series that you can obsess over xD

::yes::

I had so much school work at the end of the year, and so many things I wanted to do that I totally forgot about it. I haven't even really thought about until last week. Now that I have I noticed we only had 17 days left.
I usually don't think about it...just because I don't.

trust me;
it goes by fast.
because it seems like just yesterday i was being told about it.. and now i have 28 days to go. it seems like a lifetime now.
what i tell myself is that its before i go back to school, so sometime this summer vacation.

try picking up a hobby.

or meditating.
I meditate daily. It keeps me calm.

I think that will work. I used to have a countdown thing, and don't have it anymore...just since then I've felt like the time has flown by.

honestly? i complain to everyone else about how slow its going... i must sound like a brat! but a countdown helps me too...i flip out if anybody changes the day except me! :eek:

I try not to think to much about it.
For my last trip I was in school and just went along my day.

But when the time get's closer I think Disney non-stop.

Well I'll be in school, so time will pass quickly. However, this NYC trip is feeling like it'll never come, and I have less than a week before we leave!! ARG!!
