Due to my son's school schedule, we have to travel the week after Easter this year.

It will be our first visit during a busy time and I looking for help on how to make the most of it.

TIA!

Take advantage of EMH mornings and evenings; especially morning's try to get to park half an hour before it begins because often you are allowed into park even earlier than scheduled. And get those Fast Passes :thumbsup2 !!

We go every year at Christmas.

It's expensive to go anywhere at Christmas time so we enjoy our DVC.

We go early to the parks if at all. We enjoy the resort activities and tours and dining.

We even visit the waterparks because they are not crowded.

The great thing about the Deluxe/DVC resorts is that even when busy, you rarely feel overrun with people. You can still find places to enjoy and relax without crushing crowds. The parks are a different story, so its nice to be able to come home and enjoy all the amenities.

We go every year the week after Easter Sunday (starting 4/13/09) because we all work at schools. I recommend going early as a lot of the fastpasses for popular rides (Space Mtn) are gone before Noon. The parks are all open very late, and the MK will have a couple EMH until 3:00 am. There should be two showings of all the shows, so try and go to the later one. Make your dinner/lunch reservations as soon as your allowed. If you go to the waterparks, keep in mind that they often close because of capacity crowds by 11:00 am. I try and join TourGUideMike every year to get the Best Days at what Parks advice. Be prepared. GO early and leave by Noon, and then return early evening. Most of the stroller crowd are gone. There are a lot of older kids (10+) at this time of year, probably because of the school schedule.

Thanks so much for the advice!

I know it will be crowded, but at least we will be "home!"

Have a plan. We use Tour Guide Mike and think he is right on the money for our trips. The busiest time we have ever gone is the week of Thanksgiving. Just remember there is a lot to do outside the parks......enjoy the resort activities and just have fun. Remember you are at DISNEY WORLD....I would rather be there even if it is busy.
