How do you make chocolate fondou?

Anyone out there, can you give me a simple recipe, maybe with some liquour flavor in it? Thanks!
 
I used to make this when we first got married - 27 years ago. It's a "quick & easy" recipe from Betty Crocker.

Chocolate Fondue

12 oz milk chocolate, semisweet pieces or sweet cooking chocolate
3/4 c light cream
1 - 2 Tbl kirsch, orange-flavored liqueur or brandy
or
2 tsp instant coffee

In a heavy saucepan, melt chocolate & cream over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat; stir in liquer. Pour into fondue pot or chafing dish to keep warm. Yield: 6 -8 servings
 
How do you keep the chocolate from suddenly turning hard? I've tried twice with no luck.
 
I use 1 package milk chocolate chips and 1 8oz package low fat cream cheese. After I melk that I thin it with milk unitl it "seems" right.

As for keeping it from hardening, are you keeping it over a heat source? If not it will harden because it is cooling. If it still seems to hard add a little milk

If it turns hard, but looks "normal" or smooth, it needs to be kept warmer. If it's turning hard but looks lumpy or grainy, your heat source is too high.

Thanks, I think I need to turn down the heat on the fondue pot.

I'll give that a try.

I've always made sure that the chocolate had a lot of "wax" in it, a good imported choco bar works well for me, it's already been melted, molded, hardened. Make sure the fruit is dried off well, mine ceases when the fruit juice mixes in the sauces.
