how do you limit your DIS time so you can actually read a book?!

I read 2 books while away on vaca - something I never have the time to do when I have internet access!
So how do you limit your DIS time so you can actually read something else?

I read every night before I go to sleep and sometimes in the morning. I read 3-5 books a week.

When I'm on vacation, I refuse to look at a computer. At home it's harder. It's sitting right there calling my name. Suzanne Until I turn it on. Ok Ok I guess I need help!

Don't laugh... but I just put a book in the bathroom and usually read a chapter a day during my bathroom use.

That way it doesn't interfere with my internet time... not the other way around!

Do you have kids? DD is always barging in the bathroom when I'm in it! Locking the door doesn't help. She bangs on it till I open it. Then she comes in and says "I just wanted to see what your doing." Gota love 4 years old.

You have the same amount of time that every other person in this world has - 24 hours a day.

What you choose to do with them is your decision. If you sit in front of the computer instead of reading, that's a choice. "Limiting your DIS time" is a choice YOU make.

Push the chair back from the computer and get up and walk away. It's that simple.
