How do you like the 2005 merchandise so far?

I love to shop at DW! So tell me, how is the new merchandise and can you describe the new 2005 logo? What color are most of the new tshirts and sweatshirts? thanks.
Oh, and about the 2005 mug. I didn't like the 2004 one, the huge black one. Did they make this one the regular size and what color is it?

My dh picked up some 2005 WDW t-shirts for he and I and a sweatshirt for himself when he was down there for the Builder's Show.

Let's see, the sweatshirt is grey and the t-shirts are a dark red and a deep blue. The logo: a big "2005" written in primary colors, in front of swirly looking Mickey ears that are black and bright metallic blue. The characters featured are Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Pluto, Tinkerbell and Chip and Dale. It says Walt Disney World on the bottom and on the top it says "Where the party never ends!" It's fun and colorful, I like it.

Oh, I loved the details, thank you! hmmm...I thought the theme was the "happiest celebration on earth"? Or is it one of those years where they'll be a couple of themes going on. thanks again!

That's what I thought too, but maybe they won't have the 50th celebration stuff until it actually starts in May?? I like it that way though, we're going now and then in December during the celebration, so our WDW souvenirs will have the "regular" 2005 theme for this trip and then the 50th celebration theme for the Dec. trip. (Atleast I'm assuming there will be 50th celebration themed souvenirs!?)

we are saving up to go to WDW we started on 29th january (saturday) and from right now (31st january monday) we have over £46 (we are british so a holiday in the sun is the best)

I was going to tell you to check ebay, I've seen some 2005 stuff on there already, but the logo Goofy's Dad posted a link to is the same one I've seen on stuff on ebay (t-shirts, photo albums, ect....)

I really liked the 2004 logo with the mouse ears hat and fire works ect...
I bought a bunch of it off ebay since when we where at WDW in December most of their 2004 was already gone!

If you see something you love...grab it...cuz you might not see it again!

I thought I was the only one waiting for the 50th anniversary stuff to come out. We were there in January (just last week) and didn't see any 2005 stuff that wowed me. Since DL and I are celebrating the same birthday, the 50th anniversary stuff has more significance to me. Can't wait, and if we're lucky the Disney catalog/disneydirect.com will carry some 50th anniversary stuff too!!

Hopefully. Although, you'd think that they would have had the designs finished and off to the screenprinters by at least September 2004 to have it all ready by now.
