I'm going to be buying a parking pass this trip and was wondering how do you know what parking garage to go to and where are they? I didn't notice them at all while we were there. We leave in a week if that makes a difference. Thanks.

Hi. There is only one parking structure, it is off Ball Road. Just follow the signs, I believe and don't hold me to this one. I believe the corner is Ball Road and Magic Way. This will take you to the Parking Structure, DTD Parking Area and Both the DLR Hotel, GC Hotel and the PP Hotel. There are also two parking lots that again I believe will honor your parking pass, one is the Timon Parking lot off of Katella and the other is on Disney Way. I hope that helps you. Have a ton of fun!:tink:

If by "parking pass" you mean an add-on to your AP, the official word is that it is only accepted at M&F and subject to availability. Others have reported that if M&F is full, a pass may be accepted at Timon, Pumbaa or another lot. If you arrive in the morning, it should be no problem to get into M&F. On busy afternoons, Disney has not done a good job lately of planning for extra parking capacity and directing guests to open lots.

No matter where you enter, either on the west side near the structure or off of Harbor they will direct you to where they want you to park which is usually in the structure.

Unless you are only going to use the parking less than five times in the year it is well worth it and it is nice to not have that expense every time you visit.

Ya there is no guarantee you can get parking but the same principal would apply if you didn't have the parking pass on the AP. Seriously, if you get to DLR and it is so packed there is no parking do yourself a favor and go to the beach!

I have entered the Timon parking lot quite a few times and they typically set me with a pass to the M&F's parking lot, they give you a little map and you just cross through the lot to M&F. But I have had three times lately that they just let me park in the Timon lot instead of switching me over to M&F. This was in March 08, sometime in summer and Nov 08. With the direction I come I rarely am on the Timon side of the park so this is probably the only times I entered that lot in 08.

And yes I have a AP parking pass.

The M&F lot is on the side nearest the DLH and PP, off Ball road like others have mentioned. You can take Habor towards the I-5 freeway, make a left at the light (Ball??) past the freeway and then a left under the bridge, that takes you right to the parking structure. They have good signs so you will find it!

My brain is not a visual brain and so I was having troubles visualizing all the streets you were telling me so look what I found. :cheer2:

Disneyland area map. Click for the printable version and it is bigger. It was last updated 7/07.

Hopefully this can help someone else too. :thumbsup2

I see the M&F parking to the left of the Disneyland Resort words on the map but which parking lot is the one that is entered using Disney way? That's a lot closer to my hotel and the first day I will be paying before I upgrade to the ap parking pass so should be able to park in any of them.

You guys are all so great to be so helpful. :cheer2:

I always try the Timon lot first because I feel like its less hassle to get to the park. If they say anything I usually play stupid by saying how I was looking for the structure and have been lost for a while and they let me in, unless the lot is full which it often is because it is rather small.

Timon is the one off the Disney Way freeway exit on Harbor.

If you look at the top right hand side of the map you will see where Habor and Ball meet. If you see how the freeway travels you will actually cross over the freeway on Harbor, over the actual freeway again on Ball and then under the Carpool exit to make the left on Mickey and Friends Road. It really is easy to find.

If you are on the freeway heading South on the I-5 to DLR you get off at Disneyland Way to get to M&F and using the bridge when its open means no light to wait at!!!

Again I hope this helps and doesnt just make you more confused :)

No longer confused but all clarified now. :) Thanks.

They used to be really strict about parking in Mickey and Friends only. Since that is the only one mentioned specifically on the pass, you should really be prepared if they tell you no for the Timon or try to charge you, if you try it.
