Hi there!

Thinking about renting for the first time and would only need enough points for any two nights during the first week in May at the Boardwalk. How do I go about seeing if there is even a studio available then? Is there something can do to check before posting a rental request? Or does the owner need to do this?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much.

The owner has to call to check availability.

Go to the rent/trade board and offer to rent points from a seller. The seller/renter of points will call MS and see what the availability is. Be open to other dates or others resorts.

Two of the ways points are offered for rental are -- book dates and then post them (or possibly try to rent a reservation you can no longer use) or try to make reservations that match what a potential renter is looking for.

You might want to scan the board and see if someone already is offering what you are interested in. If not, you will have to contact someone and wait until they can find out from MS if there is something to book. Member Services is only open Mon-Fri from 9:00-5:00 Eastern time. I'm not sure whether or not they are open this Monday.
