How do you keep track

of your Usernames/UserID's and passwords? Do you use the same name/password everywhere?

I've been attempting to keep all of my logins and passwords the same. However, should anyone ever get access to my info (knock on wood), I'm really screwed. I don't know how I would keep track if I made each login and password combo different.

What do you do? How do you keep track if you have multiple screen names?

I have a weird memory for phone numbers, house numbers, userid's and pw's.

Can't explain it.

We are like you ... we have two different user ids and usually go between 2 passwords. We just try one user id/password combo and if it is not that one, then we usually know it is the other. ALTHOUGH, I hate that 3 times and you are locked out system most websites have! I know it is for our own good though.

I have a great memory. At work, I have to know about 10 different passwords to get into various things. I've been highly encouraged to NOT write anything down, to just know it so no one can find the passwords and get into a lot of confidential records that only a few of us have access to.

I use one of three sign ons with everything I do on the Internet...message boards, pharmacy, eBay, bills, e-mail, yahoo. I always use one of three passwords, too. So, if I forget something, there's only nine possibilities. Actually, I've recently developed some sense and I now do what my girlfriend does...I write it all down in a special book just for Internet stuff! lol! It really works like a charm!
