got back a few weeks ago and we miss Disney a lot. We don't plan to go back for a few years so in the meantime we want to keep the Disney magic alive. What are some things that you do? Need ideas!

To keep the magic going I read and participate in the DIS forum (of course ;)), and read various WDW related blogs.

yep, I've been reading and participating here as well. Also, looking at Disney food pics online and reading blogs. I want to start doing Disney themed nights at my house!

The Kingdom Keepers series of books are fun! They are juvenile fiction aimed at the tween/pre-teen age group, but younger readers who are advanced could enjoy them as well. They are set in Disney parks and on Disney ships. I've enjoyed reading them. The most recent one is the 7th in the series. I also recently discovered the Disneyland Adventure Series of action/adventure books set in Disneyland. I downloaded a sample from Amazon and thought it was decent. That series is written for adults.

We have a Disney Store not too far from us so I watch for their events and take the kids there for activities when they have them. We also go to Disney on Ice every year.

Podcasts and YouTube! DIS podcast, WDW Radio, Mousechat for podcasts. SeeYaReelSoon, iThemePark, and ride-through videos and resort walk-throughs on YouTube. :)

We did and still do everything mentioned above but found it not enough so we started our own Disney blog to help our kids with their writing and school work while still helping us keep the magic alive. It also make us feel good to share the magic with others too.

Just our way of sharing our many adventures at Disney.

Starting a blog may not be something everyone can do but it is working for us.

We just had Mickey Pancakes tonight for dinner! Make a tradition to play Disney Uno, the Magic Kingdom Board Game, or others. Once a month make Mickey Muffins or Cook a favorite meal from a Mickey Cookbook. Use Disney silverware, glassware, napkins, etc. when setting the dinner table. Find hidden Mickeys when you go places.

Start planning your next trip!
