How do you keep the magic alive for the rest of the year?

I do love those snowglobes. Very nice collection :goodvibes

Well, just back from Chester (via shops at the Trafford Centre, Manchester).

Had a good time. Chester is nice (spent 25 quid on sweets in Sweets From Heaven).

Katie got a large Jack Sparrow figure and Jake got a Mack playtruck and a bunch of Cars cars (!) from The Disney Store. They were giving away 'Disney Guides to the Cities - Florence' books (they just opened a Disney Store there by all accounts). It's pretty cute, kinda like a cross between a Rough Guide and a DK book, but with Disney characters in it.

A was woman in Pizza Hut sitting near us was leafing through the current Disney Travel Brochure!

Went on the Monorail in the Zoo. Big Mistake! I started to bang on about the last one I was on... it was at WDW :)

EDIT: Silly me, just had a look through that Disney Guides to the Cities - Florence book and it's to commemorate that stores 10th birthday. It looks VERY nice!

Glad you had a good time Ste7en. :goodvibes

oohhh I've got that Beauty and the Beast globe too. #

Actually if someone's interested I found some gorgeous paper sculpture models on a site called the Disney Experience - they do all sorts. There's a gorgeous one of the castle and I did find some links on there for some PM models. You just print them off on card and construct them. Something to keep the kids stuck to the table with this holiday!

I try and keep Disney feeling with the music and the photos - this year I'm determined to get myself organised and do them in a lovely slideshow that I can bore my friends with!:woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3:

Last week I took my daughter to Lightwater Valley. It was a last minute decision and I just sprung it on her.

She had a good time but when I asked her if it was better than DLP she replied "ARE YOU MAD!?!"

I guess I had it coming :lmao:

Ste7en-

i know just how u feel, i get really bad holiday blues.

i'm disney mad and have always been, when i little we never went on holidays aboard and had my first disney holiday last year to WDW with my bf's family which they paid for, before this i never really thought about dinsey holidays, but as soon as i came bak it was all i could think about so i book a bday treat for june just gone to dlp as now i want to go to every disney park there is.i love dlp now as it is so easy to get to and isnt to hard on the pennies which i'm short of most of the time being a student and working part -time. Altho as soon as we got back from dlp in june i jumped right into booking dlp for new years but i do get real bad hol blues but have to say that i love this forum and its bril for keeping the magic alive- i love disney so much i get excited reading about other ppls trip reports and planning. i so have loads disney pic around me all the time and love the suggestions that everyone has made for you, just a shame i have not children to do all these exciting things with, -humm maybe i could borrow my many nephews and niece for a weekend lol
