How do you keep the 2 parks straight?

My family and I visited 2 years ago and are heading back tomorrow for a few days. I always mixup which rides are at which park. Is there a way that helps to keep them straight. It seems like both parks have some stuff related to movies and tv.

It helps that there's not much in US that we care for, except Harry Potter, maybe Transformers + Minions. IoA is Jurassic, Super hero, and Seuss for us.

I also have the app on my phone and we like to play with the interactive map, but that's also because I'll be the person in charge of a large group of people and I like to be prepared.

I have trouble keeping them straight in my head too. I think IoA has more “adventure” rides like Jurassic, the Marvel “adventures,” and Seuss is adventurous for little kids. It also has all the really wet rides which are always an adventure. 🤷‍♀️

We like the studios side better. There is MIB , Minions, Shrek, transformers, The horror makeup show, and of course Harry Potter with the Gringotts ride, the best ride in any park, IMO. There are others there too, but can't remember them all. There is a big Simpson's section, but we didn't go there.
It seems that the IOA side is more geared towards younger kids with Seussel land. But there is Kong, Jurassic Park, etc.
There is enough on each side for everyone. Oh, the new Hagrid's bike ride is in IOA too.

Well the general rule (that has now been smudged) is that originally Universal Studios had rides that were from TV/Movies (mummy, transformers, simpson, Men in Black) but obviously with jurassic park being a movie and harry potter that gets confusing.
the way i remember it, which won't help if you haven't been there in years, is to really just picture the entrances. IoA has a much more fantasy like entrance where as Universal Studios looks like you are walking through a city for the most part, and then i can track in my head the park layout. From there i can just picture the type of rides (fantasy is more on IoA, jimmy fallon and minions is US)

I concur that Mummy is definitely the best at USF, because FJ has IoA. Two top favorite attractions for me.

Completely opposite for us, we much prefer Universal Studios. IOA is great, but you they don't have that many rides and 3 of them have to be done together with a change of clothes which eliminates a chunk of the park if you don't want to get soaked.

Get an AP and go several times a year, no problem remembering! :) Familiarity is the key. (I will admit that when a new ride is introduced, like Kong, I sometimes forget where it is for a bit)
