What is the best way? I would love to hear how you reheat your spaghetti.

I actually keep various leftover plain pastas in zip-lok bags..add a teaspoon of water...open bag slightly and Microwave for 20-30 seconds.

Microwave, with just a drop of water on top - cover it with a paper towel. Comes out great.:D

That's what I do too. :)

Put a little olive oil in an iron skillet (if you have one if not any frying pan will do) and heat up the oil, add your pasta and heat it that way. My DH loves it a little on the well done side.
It's yummy

I use frypans too. Some water in the pan, let it boil, dump the pasta and, and get stirring!!! Basically it's getting steamed.

I can never get it right in the microwave. It's either scorched along the edge, or still stone cold in the middle.

I panfry leftover spaghetti too, but only if I have leftover sauce also.

A small amount of oil in the frying pan, heat it up, add the sauce, stirring till heated through, then I add the leftover pasta. Stir gently till hot throughout. I like to let it 'fry', just a bit.

I love it this way! :)

I'm going to try that "oil in the skillet" thing next time I have leftovers. I usually microwave at half power with a cover over the food for about 3-4 minutes.:D

I pan fry it as well. First, I like to sprinkle with grated cheddar and parmesan cheese...makes it nice and gooey when heated. YUM!!!

I just put it on a plate or in a bowl and put it in the microwave for 2-3 mintues! yum!!

I make my spag a little differently than what most here must do. I once saw the owner of a little Italian restaurant on Regis & Kathy Lee (Started with an "R") and he tossed his spag. with about a Lg spooful of sauce as soon as he drained it. This way the pasta absorbed some of the sauce. After we finish a meal I mix the spag and sauce together to place in the frig. Then to reheat we'll either micro stirring halfway through the cook time than add a layer of cheese. Or if we're not in a hurry we'll reheat it in the oven and maybe add a few pepperonis and then a layer of cheese right before we remove it from the oven.

I saw a man at Sbarro's do this many years ago, and have been doing it since: Dump the pasta in a pot of boiling water; as soon as the strands of pasta comes unstuck from each other, drain. This works well if you are dealing with a large quantity of leftovers.

I LOVE fried spagetti. My Mom re-heated it that way when I was little and it became a favorite comfort food treat. We use lots of butter and when it bubbles in the pan in goes the pasta. We fry it until some of it is crunchy and some still soft. Turn out on a plate and enjoy. Some of my brothers like it with the sauce on it, but I prefer it plain. Uh oh....now I'm having a craving.......

We have a little italian place in town that makes great spaghetti, when I have leftovers I sometimes throw in on a plate (so it spreads out more and doesn't take so long to heat) and put it in the microwave. But most of the time, I just eat it cold out of the fridge, yummy! I want some spaghetti now!!!
