How do you handle tips on the DDP?

If we don't order anything out of pocket and the DDP covers our meal, can we still charge tips to the room key? I'd love not to have to carry cash for tips, but if I need to I'd rather find out now!

Yep, as long as there is charging privelages on the card you can. I've done it plenty of times.

Yes you can. Just make sure you tell them that when you ck in.

This is exactly what we plan to do next week. As far as I know, you can charge anything to your room card.

You really don't have to tell them anything when you check in. Just give them your room card at the end of the meal, as you would a credit card.

Yes. I am usually on the DDP plan and we have DDE. Whatever isn't covered by DDP, at the end of the meal we present our DDE and key card. Never had a problem charging alcohol or "extra" food.

Yes you can charge them to your room key.
