How Do You Handle MVMCP?

I'll be taking my GF to MVMCP on Sunday December 17th. Currently, we have the whole day carved out for the Magic Kingdom. We were going to arrive in the morning and rope drop the park, then use our fast passes until about 12-1, head back to the hotel for a nap, then we have an ADR for an early dinner at Chef Artsmith's at 4. After this, we were going to head back to the park for MVMCP.

Are problem is that we don't have a HS day planned and we were thinking about trying to squeeze in some time at HS that day for RnR and TMM since we'll have access to the MK until midnight. I'm just curious to hear how others manage their time and their day when going to MVMCP. Thanks!

You can enter for the party at 4. I wouldn't eat at Disney Springs at that point. Why don't you go to DHS at rope drop, eat at Homecoming for lunch then head to MK?
