How Do You Get To Stay In The Cinderella Castle Suite?

True, the downside of being famous is that you cannot just walk into a public place anymore without a mob scene happening. Just imagine not being able to run down to the corner store for coffee or donuts or something. Someone would have to be sent in your place to get anything you needed. Or you would have to contact the store manager to close the store for a while so you could sneak in the back entrance to shop, with photographers trying to snap a picture of you. Imagine living like that?

But with that said, I think sometimes they should surprise a guest with a castle suite stay, and tell them "See? Your dreams really can come true!" That would be advertising and goodwill that no amount of money can purchase.

I completely agree!

I have actually had an opportunity to take a tour of the Castle Suite as part of a D23 event at Christmas time that you had to buy tickets for. The suite was AMAZING! We got the opportunity to take as many pictures as we wanted and were able to spend about 45 minutes in there looking around. I would love to have had the opportunity to sleep there, but just getting a chance to look around for awhile was a once in a lifetime thing I will never forget. It was great that an average person like myself was able to have that opportunity. I sure hope they do more things like that to give people a chance to see the beauty of it. It is truly the most magical experience I have ever had.

I would love if they offered a castle tour like they do other tours. I'd gladly pay just to take a tour. I wouldn't want to stay there...too isolated...no pool.

I had read somewhere that nights in the castle are not 'sold' but can be won or can be granted following a sizeable charitable donation. Not sure how accurate that is, but if true maybe less to do with celebrity than size of bank balance. Would be nice to think it can't be bought!

This is what we were told during a castle suite tour at the 2011 D23 event.

I had a friend several years back whose family was chosen as "Family of the Day" and got to spend a night in the castle suite. Not sure if this was some kind of special promo or a secret thing Disney does here and there, but they were approached while they were at Blizzard Beach by a group of CMs and told they had been picked.

It makes me sad to know that "common folk" can't stay there but if your name is Neil Patrick Harris or Suri Cruise you can. Very frustrating to those of us who would LOVE a chance to stay a night in Cinderella Castle but never will because we are not a celebrity! :furious:
Simple plan:
a) Become a celebrity
b) Narrate a Candlelight Processional or two (or five)
c) Donate lots of money to a charity
d) Ask for a night in the castle.

Honestly, this room would be cool to look at but sounds totally boring. I'd hate being shut in after hours... I'd probably turn it down of I won it!

You would not be alone.:)

During the Year of a Million Dreams promotion, the Dream Squad was turned down several times when trying to award Guests a night in the Castle Suite.:)
