How do you get the stuff home that you ship to WDW?

Many have mentioned that they have shipped heavy or bulky items to WDW to avoid carrying them on an airplane. How do you get the stuff back home without carrying it? Can items be shipped from the resorts?

Can items be shipped from the resorts?

Yes, any of the resorts which have conference centers, have business centers. The business centers can ship out anything - purchases - dirty laundry - or stuff you don't want to take on a plane.

The Conference center resorts are: CSR, CR, GF, YC/BC, BWV. If you ship stuff out (and your room is secured with a credit card) you can charge the shipping fees right to your room.

We don't usually ship stuff in. But we do take in more suitcase room than we need. The bags arrive half full and leave stuffed plump.

One tip that a seasoned Disney goer and avid cruiser told me to do was this...

Pack one or two suitcases with soda pop and snacks, that way you do not have to try and purchase them from the hotel or on the ship PLUS when you snack and drink and empty your suitcase you have empty suitcases to pack souveniers in for the trip home.
