how do you get PINS?

I know this is a stupid question, but I'm not a veteran Disney vacation planner. How do you get PINs?

from what i can tell - you have to be registered on any/all disney sites. And then it is a random act that no one can figure out. Some get them and some never get them. Sometimes there are general public ones, florida resident, AAA, VISA card holder, etc. Hope that helps you a little

My theory...

I signed in on the Disney Site and Planned a few vacations...
Then saved them...
Shortly after I began receiving Pin Codes.
I have three different trips Saved and I have received three different pin codes since I did this.
I got a 20% off code, a kids stay, play and eat free code, and a free dining for April code.
Maybe they think I'm on the fence about booking...

I've saved many trips before because I was undecided and have never ever gotten a code. There's always hope though!

If you figure this out let me know... it is the most irritating thing about Disney. I have planned and booked over 5 trips in the past 3 years and never recieved one. You would think that they would want to reward thier most loyal customers but that is not the way they work.

i have many saved hotels also - never received an email code. I did receive a postcard with the 4/3 in the mail. It might be your locations. I live in Louisiana - maybe they only target people who have to fly in (Magical Express), not people who can drive it in less that a day.

My husband got one when we were engaged. He had never been to Disney nor had he ever looked at anything Disney online. So you never know.
BUT.. I will say that i have heard that people have called disney to ask if there is a PIN attached to their name (or family member that would also be going with you) and they have found out that they have one that they didn't know about.
Can't hurt to call ans ask right???

Which Disney sites do you sign up on? I'm registered on the official site. Where else??

I'm going to Disney in a little over a week, but I'm desperate to get back, so I'm trying to find some cheap ways to convince DH!!
