How do you get into Epcot from BW?

I know that Epcot is accessible from The Boardwalk via the International Gateway in World Showcase, but WS doesn't open until 11am. What happens if you want to go to FutureWorld for opening? Can you get in through the International Gateway and walk around WS before it opens, or do you have to get to the front of Epcot to go in at rope drop? If you can to in through the IG, can you go in before "official" opening so you can get around to FW in time for "rope drop" or do they make you wait at the IG for the official park opening time?

If you enter IG before 11:00 AM you can either turn right and walk to the bakery in France for a breakfast bite, or turn left and walk up to Future World. Nothing else on that side of World Showcase will be open, and you cannot go past France towards Morocco.

To get to Future World you just walk along the promenade past the closed shops and restaurants of UK and Canada.

If you get there before park open, you will be held at IG until the rope drop time. You can't go past IG until the park is officially opened for the day.

They do rope drop at the IG, too. You just walk through the UK and Canada to get to Future World. Oh, I think the bakery in France is open too, but the rest of WS is roped off.
