How do you get codes and what are they?

I have seen people getting codes and 40% off discounts. How do you get these?

We love WDW and will be going every year for the rest of my life! But it would be so nice to save money because its so expensive!!!

No one knows exactly why one person gets a code and someone else doesn't. You can also request the vacation dvd. But one thing to do is to register on the disney web site and when you do, make sure to check that you want to get news and offers from them. But many people who do that still don't get the codes. Then some people get a postcard, some seem to get e-mails. Some computer program at disney then decides when to spit out the postcards.
