How do you get a good rate on the airport Hyatt in Orlando?

Are there any tricks to getting a good rate at the Hyatt hotel in the Orlando airport?

If not, are there any inexpensive but decent hotels within airport shuttle distance? Which ones?

Search these threads for Hyatt on Hotwire. If you know what to look for, you can recognize it when it comes up. I got it in May for about $85 a couple weeks before my arrival.

I've read that the way to recognise it on Priceline (or maybe Hotwire ) is that it's the only airport hotel which doesn't list 'shuttle' as one of the features (because, of course, it's inside the terminal).

No, no, no. I think it used to be that way, but more recently it DOES say shuttle. I don't know why it changed. I'll have to do a little checking to refresh my memory, but I believe the best indication may be the tennis nearby. I also think the retail price they show as a comparison will match to Hyatt's going rate on their website. Look at betterbidding.com and biddingfortravel.com for more help.

The amenities if you're shooting for the Hyatt on the Hotwire website before you select the offer is: 3.5 star

Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Tennis and Business.
