How do you find out about Catalina's?

Or is there not really a system to it? The only ones I've really gotten have been "$5 off your next purchase of $25 or more" but only from the grocery store that I don't normally shop at. I don't think I've EVER spent $25 in a single trip there so I haven't ever been able to use them. They also usually expire in a week.

I don't know if there is a "system" to it. If you have a Meijer store near you, their ad usually describes any bigger Catalina promotion going on. For example, if you buy 4 boxes of cereal, you get a coupon for $5 your next shopping trip. There are also usually signs in my store, alerting you to the deal.

Most Catalinas, however, seem pretty random to me. Sometimes they are for the product you just bought, sometimes for a competing product. I think the main thing is to use them quickly! I try to match them up with store sales, and often end up with expired coupons I forgot to use.
