How do you feel since we moved the clocks ahead?

I actually feel pretty good. :bitelip: I'm very surprised at that...I'm usually dead tired at this time of night, (7:30 pm) I'm sure since the sun is up that is making me feel more awake. And getting up with it dark really wasn't so hard.

How are you adjusting?

Both time changes tend to knock me for a loop for at least a week or so. Spring time usually isn't as bad because I love having it lighter out later. Today, though, it's cold and rainy, so I'm like Night of the Living Dead.

You get knocked for a loop on a one hour time zone change? On average the body adjusts one day for each time zone change. Be thankful that you don't have to travel east-west for a living. Try going to South East Asia...

Same with me. Combine that with getting about 3 hours of sleep a night for the two weeks before spring ahead and I'm an absolute zombie right now. But I'm normally like this.
I do like the fact though that it will be light out now when I'm walking back across campus from group project meetings that I have coming up.

It takes me a few days to adjust. I feel really "out of it" today :guilty:

I hate getting up in the dark, and really enjoyed the past several weeks when it was light at 6AM. Now it's back to stumbling around in the dark; makes me feel as if winter has returned.

I love it. The extra daylight really agrees with me.....:)

This morning started out with a tornado watch and a severe thunderstorm, but it turned into a lovely day....:)

I feel like it should be dark right now, but it's not! I had trouble sleeping last night and I was a little off all day. I think I'll be okay after today though.

Awful..but then I'm not feeling well today anyhow.. I never got up until 11:30 this morning - sat in the chair feeling sick till noon - went back to bed and slept till 4 p.m.. I had to come back down here to my DD's from the lake today and I really, really had to force myself to do what I needed to do to close up and head down here..

I hope I feel better tomorrow.. This is no fun at all.. :(

Yes, I think that would possibly kill me. I remember going to Hawaii when I was 13 and how we all slept until "Hawaiian time" upon arriving home.

I travel frequently to Germany for 3 day trips. A measily 1 hour time change has no impact on me at all.

For me, this time change is easier than in the fall.

However, this morning I jumped out of bed at 7:45 because DS has to be at his bus at 8:15 and he wasn't up, breakfast wasn't made, lunch wasn't packed, kids weren't dressed, etc. Usually, we are all up by 7.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be different, although I did forget once again to change the clocks in the children's rooms.

I woke up at 7:57, supposed to be to work at 8:00. Usually my kids are morning people up before me, but not this morning, everyone was snoozing away. I even disregarded the alarm...apparantly I shut it off. Thankfully DD wasn't late for school and I only work 6 blocks away!

i AM DEALING with it fine but my girls are havinga hard time. They were possesed this morning I swear.

This is our first year of daylight savings time. I don't like it. I like my sunlight in the morning! Dh set the alarm for 4:18 this morning and it didn't get light until almost 8 am. I felt like 1/2 my day was gone before the sun came up!

I had that same problem a few years ago when I worked 7am-3. I was just getting used to getting up that early when Wham! DST hits and it's dark when I woke up. Talk about a hard time waking up.

I for one, really wish they would do away with this practice. It's so unnessessary and, contrary to popular belief, doesn't actually give us more daylight. If someone wants more daylight then they can get up early. I say stop screwing with the clocks!

Can you tell I haven't adjusted very well. :teeth:

Ugh. Its hit me hard.
I came back in town and crossed a time zone right before DST, so instead of losing one hour(which I can deal with), I've lost two. and Its really messing me up.
