How do you feel about Bungee Jumping?

I went bungee jumping a couple summers ago in Africa. It was off a 111 meter bridge on the Zambia-Zimbabwe border at Victoria Falls. It used to be the tallest commercial jump in the world but there is a couple bigger ones now. It was great and I will do it again in a heartbeat.

Does anyone know why it's called "Bungee" jumping?
Was it invented by a Mr Bungee!

Absolutely no way!!!

I think the name derives from the type of elasticated rope used, but where that came from, I've no idea.

I didn't pick one b/c none really fit me. I wouldn't take it upon myself to bungee jump, but I think I could be talked into it if a group of my friends and/or my husband were doing it. I'd just have to make sure no kids were around b/c I'm sure there would be lots of bad words coming out of my mouth! LOL!
