How do you edit a Fast Pass?

Hello. I'm hoping someone can answer this for me. I was on line last night and picked my fast passes for my trip in December. Not surprisingly, I was unable to get one for Anna and Elsa. But, I know by reading these boards that I should not give up hope and check regularly. This is where my problem is. There are 7 of us traveling together. The A&E fast pass is only important to 4 of them. So, in order to maximize my chances at getting them the passes, I want to break our group into 2 groups for that pass. I figure it might be easier to get 4 passes than 7.

Right now, all of my fast passes are reserved for all 7 of us together. I would like to take my Space Mountain FP and take those 4 people off in case I can get the A&E fast pass.

When I get on to the FP page, I see 3 choices: New FP; Need to Change FP Experience or Time; and Cancel. I thought I would take the Change FP but when I do, it seems all I can do there is change the ride or the time of the current fast pass. I don't see where on that screen I can remove people.

Is there a way to do this or since I made all the FPs for everyone the first time, do I have to stick with that?

Using the app or website? Try both, they work differently.
 
I'm sure someone will be along to correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure you don't want to remove those 4 people (as in CANCEL their fastpass). From what I've read, if you cancel a fp, the only way to get it back is to call. I'm not sure if that's what you meant, I just wanted to toss out there that I don't think you should cancel what they have.
 
I just made my FP selections for the first time and had some issues with this. However, if you are online, when you change experience, it will ask you who you want to make changes for. I did reservations for 6 but ended up changing for just 2 in our party doing it that way.
 

I made the original FP reservations on the website via my computer. When I made the reservations, it did ask me who I wanted to make them for and I checked all 7 us. But I would now like to break our large group of 7 into 2 groups (just for my Space Mountain FP) to try and maximize the chances of finding a FP for A&E. When I did go into the change section, all I could see was the option to change the experience or change the time of that experience. I didn't see anything in that screen that would allow me to change the people that the FP was assigned to. Am I missing something on that screen?

I think what you'll need to do is just Change the experience for those you want to get A&E. You'll only be able to do this if enough A&E fp's actually open up to change them to. Basically, what I think it comes down to is that you can't have people with just 2 fp reservations, and a 3rd still unbooked. When you book fp's it has to be all 3 for each person. If you start removing fp's from people you are essentially canceling their 3rd fp, and as I said previously, if you do this I think you actually have to end up calling Disney to get it reinstated (a real headache)

I think if you click on the makes changes to FP...then you can click on change experience and see if Anna Elsa is available. If not..then you do nothing. If it is, you can select the people you want to change it for.

I just re-verified on the app, you will be prompted to select individual party members after you choose the attraction to change. The next screen will list only available attractions (meaning A&E will probably not be listed). You can still back out at this point for any reason.

do Not cancel ONE FP for 4 people. you will only be able to have two FP then. ALWAYS change the experience-- nothing else. On the next screen it will say for who-- just click on the one people you want to try for-- and I would try for 2 not for 4 people There is only 10 per hour for A&E
 
I've found this to be an issue as well. You can't select Anna and Elsa as an option because there is no availability, which means there is no way for you to break down your group into 4, unless there is already availability for 7. The only way I can find to do it, is to change the experience to something else for the 4, and check using that. With the Mine Train, I had success making 5 separate reservations for 5 people. Then I checked Mine Train availability individually and there was a lot. I picked a time with other times close to it. The first person's window and the last person's are exactly an hour apart, but it still works. The first 4 are all within 30 minutes of each other.
