Where is a Disney fashion board when you need one?

We all agree that you can wear your normal park attire to most TSs. So what is your normal park attire?

Mine is pretty much the same as my usual summer play clothes (I live in Texas, so I'm used to the heat). I don't like showing my knees, so that is various capris, cotton gauchos (this year, since EVERYONE has them!), fitted T-shirts, flip flops, some ballet flats. And no, my feet do not kill me--I'm used to much worse where I work!

Oh yeah, and NO make-up!! Who even takes make-up to WDW??? (DH says, oh, so those six lip glosses don't count as make-up? :p )

We go in June so it is hot hot. During the day I will wear shorts & a sleeveless shirt. This is the first year it is not a sleeveless blouse my daughters have been begging me to stop wearing them. This year Crocs, Birkenstocks or my Clarks. No make-up. I MUST wear a big hat this year I had a Melanoma this winter.

I will change to Capris for evening. No hat!

DH will wear a sleeveless T shirt during the day not a wife beater. But we bring a Disney T shirt with short sleeves for lunch. He will wear a Golf shirt or short sleeve button shirt in the evening for dinner & if we go back to the park he changes to the sleeveless T shirt, if it is really hot.

Me: Tank tops and shorts, low-ankle super padded sole socks with arch support, and my New Balance tennis shoes. I will steal DH's baseball cap if the sun is really bright.

DH: Polo's or teeshirts and shorts, socks and tennis shoes, and a baseball cap. He's really into the coolmax fabric thing right now, though, so his attire may change.

We both prefer cargo shorts because you can slip your resort ID, debit card, and some quick cash in and out of those pockets very quickly, instead of getting in and out of the backpack.

The below pictures are a pretty accurate representation of our theme park "uniform."

I do carry an entire second wardrobe though...because we go out at night, usually in downtown Orlando. For that I bring the nice jeans or pants, sparkly tops, heels, jewelry, party purses, etc.

Normal park attire for us (in May and September/Oct) is shorts, Disney T's, and sneakers.

Pants/ capris and tank tops/ sleeveless t-shirts
sandals or sneakers
Minnie Mouse ears or Ralph Lauren sun hat
black backpack

NO make-up!!!! you know, one time, at DL, it was AFTER midnight (park closing) and in the restrooms was that woman checking her make up, hair, etc... Man, I was trying to get one feet in front of the other, and she was just checking to see if every little square inch was perfect. After a day in the heat of a theme park!!!

Shorts, tees, waist pack or backpack. Sneakers and low cut socks. NO makeup. Hair greased down with Zero Frizz (which lasts maybe an hour  )

I wear my usual summer attire: t-shirt and shorts or cami and mini-skirt. I put on some comfy sandals or sneakers and I'm good to go. :woohoo:

Greetings fellow Texan :wave2:

Our park attire in May was generally shorts, sleeveless shirt, tennis shoes, and low cut socks in the day, and I would change to capries and sleeveless shirt in the evenings w/sandals.

I did do makeup b/c they might not have let me in the parks w/out it. :teeth: Hair in a ponytail and we were ready to go.

I wear make up at WDW, everyday. :confused3

I went to Beauty School - I'm cursed with enjoying making myself up. :thumbsup2

I usually wear shorts and Tshirts or tank top. Sneakers or this year crocs. DD wears cute sundress or shorts and top. Dh and DS wear shorts and tshirts. I do wear makeup and hair in ponytail. At night if we are going som where nicer I usually will a sundress and sandals or Capri's and cute top. DD always dresses nice. DS and DH will wear Khaki's and collared shirt or Khaki shorts and Tshirts. Depends where we are eating.

Me - denim shorts or a denim skirt and various cotton T-shirts. I have a medium to short bob, so I tuck my hair behind my ears and call it good...on horrible horribly hot days, I'll pin part back with a barette. I do wear makeup...I need my eyeliner and mascara or I look like I'm exhausted, and my powder and moisturizer has my SPF. For dinner I usually change into fresh stuff, but if the restaurant is casual I'll still be in my T's and shorts. If it's a nicer restaurant I go with denim capris or skirt, camis with shirts/shawls/whatever over them or a light summer sweater. Footwear is Crocs or Clarks.

DH - shorts and either a T shirt, polo or button down Hawaiian shirt. Footwear is Crocs or Nikes.

DS - shorts, T's, tank tops. Love love loves his Crocs.

We go next month but this is what I am planning....

ME: daytime....tanks and denim shorts or cotton tshirts and Nike shorts...no show socks and shox. Hair in a french braid or ponytail with matching hair ribbon, sunglasses and visor.

DH...kakhies or denim shorts with tshirts....no show socks, his shox, sunglasses and visor.

at night i will wear capries or a short skirt with more of a babydoll T with sandles or flip flops

DH will pretty much wear denim shorts or Kahkie shorts with a polo shirt.

I will be doing make up can't help myself. :confused3

I am probably the one you will see in the bathroom checking the make up late at night :rotfl: I just can't help it. lol

I would never go anywhere without makeup!

I was thinking the same thing! I use mineral makeup (everyday minerals brand) and even in the FLorida and heat and humidity it's stands up to the test. I live in southeastern VA were temps and humidity can be the same as FLorida and I STILL wear makeup.

As for what else I wear...Bermuda Shorts, capris, tank tops, camisole tops, lightweight cotton shirts, Birkenstocks. I have hair to my chin, so it's too short for ponytails. I just carry a comb and straighten it out after getting off rides.

Cheers,
Jane :sunny:

I have a theme park shirt that I love. It's a lightweight, sleeveless Michele Michelle polyester that even has eyelet to let in more breeze. I wear that or something similar with shorts and the same cross trainers I wear for working out. Winter is jeans and a knit top.

DH won't be caught dead without a collared shirt. . .period.

I wear a bucket-style hat (can't suncream the hairline easily!), nooooo makeup except sunblock lipgloss (too hot!), sunglasses, tight vest top or spaghetti strap top (saves for embarrassing sweat marks if you're out too long waiting for a parade!), and either a short skirt or shorts.

On my feet I wear sneakers, flat cute ballerina pumps or sandals - I'm used to being on my feet for 10 hours a day at work so walking round WDW doesn't really kill my feet the way it does people with normal jobs ;) My family always "feel the burn" long before my feet start to hurt. I wore a pedometer to work once, turns out I walked 11 miles in a day...

I've got myself the CUTEST bag. It's got so many pockets! I can't wait to use it! It's got a long shoulder strap so I can hang it across my body, it's got a little see-through pocket inside for my tickets/fast passes; it's got a cellphone holder on outside; it's got a little clip for my to hang my keys from, it's got sooo many pockets that I don't feel worried about things getting pickpocketed (I'm from near London originally!!!).

In it I just carry: lipbalm, suncream, sunglasses if I'm inside, purse, phone, keys, tickets, a light jacket or shirt for the evening, a light umbrella and a packet of lifesavers!

In the past we have gone in May and June so park attire for me is usually tank tops and khaki shorts, a matching baseball cap most days, and a small messenger bag for the basic necessities.Tshirts and capris if it is cooler in the evenings.

I cant live w/o my tank tops. I wear them with everything. During park hours I am usually wearing a tank w/ either long short or capri's and at night when we go out I will switch it up to a skirt (depending on what we do) or pants. I wear day outfits w/ short and night outfits w/ sandles. I dont think makeup is work it in the parks but at night I only wear a bronzer and maybe lipgloss! :)
