Okay, so we, DM , DD, DS7, DD 5, DD2 are going to WL in sept and oct for 9 nites. I currently have the free dining with a 10 day hopper. So, can I check in with the package, including free dining, and then go to the concierge and upgrade all of our passes to annual passes before I use any days? Will the $900 used for the hoppers transfer to the annual pass purchase? Last year we went in October and then went back in January and had to pay for passes twice...if I had known I would have got annual passes then. But, i don't want to lose the free dining either. So, can I do this or is there another way. thanks

Yes and yes.
Actually, you can probably upgrade your tickets to APs while you're checking in; no need to wait in another line for the Lobby Concierge. And you can actually upgrade to the APs any time during your visit - they'll just be backdated to the first day you used the Hoppers.
