How do you decorate your desk, cubicle, office, or other work area?

Me, I have a load of stuff on my desk!

I have a few prize posessions like, a piece of lava from the volcano in the Phillippines, a tiki doll from Hawaii (No, not a troll). Ceramic mug, made in Wsmbg.,, VA. Pencils from different National Parks, and some other various odds and ends.

We are not allowed to display anything political here, thank heavens.

my desk is full of travel agency books, reference manuals, and small business software. I have a display cabinet next to my desk that has mementos of all of our trips

Well I dont have a real window so I made my own with a poster of Opunohu Bay, Tahiti (palm trees Sail boat parked in the bay)

Pictures of my wife and kids,my toy Harley,Homer Simpson,Spiderman some tropics themed pictures.

I don't have an office or cubicle as I am a teacher so I have a classroom. I have gifts and pictures the kids have given me around my desk area (well it's a chair and shelf). In my cupboard that I keep my books etc in I have a few pictures on the wall of my pets (the kids like them) and a few postcards from my holidays (I like to look at them after a hard day!)

Since I work in a church office, I have to be very subdued in my decorating. I have a collage photo frame on the wall with pictures of my family. I also have a family photo with the Doug Live cast on my desk as well as a photo of DH. The thing I get the most comments on, though, has to be my sleeping kitty. It's one of these fake cats covered with rabbit fur and looks real. I've had grown men freak out as soon as they see it.

Well, for the 2nd time in my working life, I have an office and, I have a Cubs magnet on the file cabinets, of course, and a calendar I use that Nutsy sent me from Australia and, I have a picture my DD did for me and, I have another magnet (from another DISer) that says "Do you want to speak to the man in charge or, the woman who knows what's going on?" That particular magnet is sentimental. AND, last but not least, I burn a YC in my office everyday!!!

Don't ask about drawer contents tho, please!

On my wall at work is a rather large picture of my state police academy graduation class, which is next to my diploma from the same place. People tend to give me short answers to my questions "Yes sir or no sir" which is what I aim for.

I have my own office. I have a few framed art posters on the wall, some framed photos and a plant on top of my bookshelf, and a bulletin board with a few more photos and stuff for work on it.
