I rarely buy DS sugary cereal, but he HAD to have some Cinnamon Toast Crunch a week ago because the General Mills cereals came with a free DVD in the box of "classic" cartoons (80's stuff like Inspector Gadget and Strawberry Shortcake...)
Which I watched as a kid...I figued it was a good deal, because they were on sale too. So we go to the store yesterday and he wants another box with a different DVD. Now the first box hasn't been opend except to take out the DVD the minute we got home from the store....I shouldn't complain because DS has been eating whole grain toast, kiwi and watermelon for the last week for breakfast (which is much better than the cereal) BUT I'm not buying another box of cereal for a DVD. I was thinking that I should make a rule that he has to eat either half or the whole box before taking out the toy or whatever next time...I can't imagine how you handle this with more than one kid?!?
And NO I didn't buy another box for him....So, do you have a rule about cereal box toys?
