I was just dusting the computer desk and noticed my keyboard and mouse need a good bath. What's a good way to clean them so I don't damage them? Windex and a paper towel? Damp cloth? Any suggestions??

Thanks for all your help! :sunny:

I use a little alcohol pad between and on the keys.

I think a little Mountain Dew or Coke should do the trick... I always then hafta get a new keyboard that is clean!

okay okay- I use a can of condensed air that works rather well!

I bought a container of wipes from Office Depot. They clean the whole computer even the screen.

For "visible dirt" I spray Windex on a paper towel & wipe down the keys & mouse. (Too cheap to buy the wipes at the office supply stores ;) )

For crumbs & dust - I turn the keyboard upside down & shake it good.

I still use a cloth covered mouse pad, so I also have to turn it over, remove the ball & clean the rollers, too.

Me too, I know I shouldn't tap it but DD always eats at the computer.
