How Do You Change Your Flights On Jetblue?

I had our September trip all booked. Then my DH's good friend decided to book his wedding for while we will be in disney

I know Jetblue charges $25 a ticket to change. Can I do this online? The new days/flights are the same price I paid initially. But originally I booked online so I received the $5 off each flight discount. So if I call to rebook, it will be $5 more per person per flight (a total of $30). Did that make sense?

Anyone have experience cancelling and rebooking online with Jetblue? Thanks so much!

The only way to change/cancel flights on Jetblue is to phone the 1800 number on their website. It is in the "contact us" section.

And you will lose the 5 per person discount. So if your flight is less by 5 then you are even, but if it is the same before the discount, then you will pay the non-discounted price. They say this is due to the fact that you are not booking the new flight on line. Could you cancel your orginal flights, get the credit, then rebook on line, something to ask. Don't know if this is possible.

I had to change my flights twice on our last trip, mother worries, and they were wonderful about it. But we did pay the 25.00 person change fee and the additional cost in fare. The first time it was acutally 10.00 (webfare) less for the flight, so we ended up paying just 20.00 more person, (25.00 - 5.00.)

The agent made sure we were still in the same seats the first time, then moved us up to the airport designated seates two weeks before our flight when I changed our departure date in fears of bad weather before our cruise.

I've had to rebook, and once the price of the flight had actually gone down, so I only paid $5 instead of $25.

I had to cancel a vacation and aside from the $25/ticket fee for change, everything else went into a "credit" account that is good for a year. I don't know any other airline that does that. I only fly JetBlue if they're going where I am!
