If I obsess over this here on this board, I might not give DH vacation overload before the vacation in May. :rotfl:

How do you carry the mugs when you aren't drinking from them? Do you stick them in your bag? Do the mugs have handles? I'm thinking that if it has a handle, I can bring a clip and clip it to my backpack when it's not in use. (Of course now that I've thought of this grand little plan, I'm sure there won't be any handles on them. ;) )

ETA: PHOTOS! Us newbies need PHTOTOS of the mugs! :rotfl2:

That's why I don't buy the mugs or carry anything other than my room key and some cash. I hate to stop to put things in the lockers. I love to ride, ride, and then ride some more. I pick one day for pics... so everybody better be looking lovely on that one day because I'm not carrying the camera again.:)

I'm hyperventilating just READING about not having a camera there every day! I'm already trying to convince myself up to leave the *big camera* behind and take the Point & Shoot most days and pick one or two days to bring the *good* one. My problem is deciding which day to bring the big camera. (Maybe I'll just wait for the weather report and let that decide for me. Guaranteed rainy day = Point & Shoot? Hmmmm that might work)

I REALLY want to travel light but......I ADMIT IT! I"M the one you see on the interstate with the van packed up to the roof in the back. I actually have to NOT pack till 10-12 hours before or I might just pack the whole darned house. I have a SERIOUS case of *But I might need that* and it extends to my daily packing for the parks too.:sad2: But the first step to solving any problem is ADMITTING that you have a problem right?!? See....I'm on the right track!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

some use the brit water strap for their mugs, some loop it to a belt, some carry it, some stick it in a bag and carry the bag, etc.

i bought the mug with a handle. the dd mug i have is long and slender.
the boxy ones don't all have a handle.

if you decide to buy a mug while you are there, think about getting one with a handle. the others are a pain to carry without handles.

I'm with you, our family carries nothing. Just the point and shoot camera (in pocket) and our landyards with AP pass and room key. Then my DW carries alittle ziplock bag with a few Advil for the just incase headache.:thumbsup2

I put mine in the little mesh bag on the back of the stroller ;)

Ahhhh....strollers..... part of me is SO glad we are past those days. Then the other part misses having a pack mule! :upsidedow

Haha, I know... When my husband & I go to the mall without the kids I always hate not having the stroller to put stuff in.

in DH's cargo short's pocket:lmao: yet another good reason to carry a very small bag

Just don't have DH put it in his cargo shorts pocket when it still has something in it :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I will be takeing the "pack mule" stroller as well. I had really planned to leave it home this trip but when I thought about having to carry the backpack around all day and the cups and snacks and purchases I decided DS6 was still too little to walk all day in a theme park... It's for his comfort really :rotfl2:
A fanny pack is excellent for that camera and advil.
PS I want to see pictures of the refillable mugs as well! I think we will end up with 3 one for DH and me to share one for the kids to share and one for Grandma but IDK she only drinks water so maybe we will only have to keep up with 2 mugs.

i buy him the military type shorts with so many pockets he has room to spare;)

things wear like iron:lmao: unless his midsection grows, he'll be good to go for along time:thumbsup2

Dw wears the cargo shorts and I never thought about doing that until I looked over at her last year and asked her were her mug was and I wear the cargo pants and started doing it and the only differance is I don't wear shorts cause I don't want to blind people in the parks :lmao: :lmao:

Is this the mug?

Found it in this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2063540

The straw part could be hooked on something, no?

I have the blue dueling dragon mug.
same length as the one in the picture but it has a handle which makes it easy to hang on to.

no universal advertising on my mug though.

the straw can be attached to the side on some of them.

This is one of the ones we have. We also have the red one you found a photo of but this one is better since you can put a clip on the handle and clip it to your belt loop.

We usually had a stroller and we put it in there.

That Red one if you click it to the straw the straw will come out and you will drop the cup there isn't anything holding the straw in.

we have both pictured (and a few more) stowed in a suitcase in attic;)

as mac said, i tend to gravitate to the ones with handle...im thinking shrek

know my son bought the MIB alien one & all the TMs groaned when he had it refilled..wouldn't fit in many of the dispenser & they had to hand fill it with a cup...somebody dropped the ball there lol

im not sure if the red one would pass muster though this year...don't quote me...not in a refillable mug thread:rolleyes1 i don't advocate anybody trying to circumvent the process..whatever it may be:confused3

just my opin that unless it's clearly stated that mugs r either:

one day/length of stay/annual cup good during calender year;

u can use/re-use @ ur discretion when @ Universal...just don't try it elsewhere
