How do you "Buy" things in a trade?

I have heard many times in trade rooms "I will buy", how can you buy when you can't trade credits?

They probably mean one of two things:

1. They will trade for a shopping spree in which they will buy you items equal to a certain amount of credits.

2. If they have a quest machine, they can trade credits with it.

Oh cool, I think I am going to work for a quest machine then. Since it is so hard to get rare items without rare items . Thanks for explaining

Buy something is also another meaning for trade for an item.
