Hi -
I've been reading lots of posts about Cypress Pointe and Vistana Villages as well as other resorts which are timeshare resorts. My question is how do you book these if you don't own a timeshare? We are looking for a place to stay our first week in Orlando (before we go to a Disney property the second week) and we'll be visiting SW, Universal and IOA that 1st week. I would like a resort type place with a great pool and good grounds. Just three of us so only need a 2 bdrm. Cypress Point sounds nice but the website seemed geared toward owners.

Also looking for a property I can make reservations without a deposit or if a deposit then refundable until some point (like 90 days out or 120 days out).

Any suggestions/insight/info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I can't suggest a timeshare type place, but the condos at Grand Palms are quite nice and can be rented very affordably. You could try VRBO or VacationRentals.com.
