I was all ready to book loop 1500 for mid feburary and after an hour trying to do so through disney gave up and came back here to ask for help. I filled out an online form about a week ago and just now sent a second request to disney asking them to contact me. Everywhere I try to book fw they only want bookings for a cabin. I was successful reaching a travel agent, Rhonda, by email, who qouted me $499 tx. in., but I would prefer getting a quote from fw themselves. How do you book a site? and would Rhonda from **************.com be o.k.?
Also where do you book your myw passes? Thanks again for any assistance you can provide us. Rob.

Rhonda is the moderator here. She is a fort expert. She would be perfect to book for you and answer all of your questions. Rest assured you are in good hands with her.

Actually, Rhonda is no longer a moderator, but she is the most Fort-fluent travel agent in the industry! If you want to handle making ressies yourself just call CRO at 407-939-7675.

Are you trying to go through Disney's online reservations (found HERE)? If you are, and it's not showing you anything except cabin availability, it's possible that the campsites are full for the time you're looking.

You can always call the central Disney reservations line - (407) WDW-MAGIC (939-6244)

If you're looking to compare just straight campsite prices (room only) you can find a chart of 2010 "rack rates" for campsites based on the time of year HERE

Keep in mind these are non-discounted rates and don't include any promotional offers that may be available (depending on the time or your eligibility).

Also as an FYI - you cannot reserve a specific loop or campsite. You can put in a request at the time of your reservation if you'd like, but it's only a request, not a guarantee. You won't know for sure what site you've been assigned to until you actually check in.

As for your tickets - you have a bunch of options including

- get them as part of a package (either booked through a travel agent or direct through Disney)

- purchase them online through Disney's site

- purchase them when you get to WDW, either at your resort, DTD or at the entrance to any park

You are in absolutely wonderful hands with Rhonda, but if you really want to see the rates on Disney's website for the campsites, it is a little tricky. For some reason the website does default to the cabins.

What you need to do is:

Go to www.disneyworld.com

Under price your dream vacation click on "Room Only"

Put in your dates, click on "get prices"

At the bottom of the list should be Disney Campground, click on "Check Category Availability"

It will probably then come up with the cabins,

then click on "Edit" on the left

Then on "Resort Choice" click on the choice at the very bottom of the list
"Disney's Fort Wilderness Campsites"

Then click on "Search Now"

Then if there is any availability, the campsites should come up.

You will want to select Tent/Popup Campsite as your choice.

At that point you will be able to add tickets, or any other options you would like.

Honestly, for tickets, I would recommend purchasing from UndercoverTourist.com

Hope this helps!!

Just reread your post.

Is it **************.com or dreamsunlimitedtravel.com??

I don't know anyone at **************.com

However rhonda@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com is the best there is when comes to booking the campsites at Fort Wilderness!!

Wait a second.... when did Rhonda stop being a moderator here. What did ya'll do? Did you finally have enough of ya'll? Why did ya'll run her off? Come on guys, what gives? LOL :confused3

Don't forget, sometimes you need to let it default to a full 7 days if it isn't showing any availability on your selected dates. Sounds corny right? Believe it or not, if you are only booking a few days, it may show they have no availability....add 6 days and suddenly, there it is. Book it for the longer time period, then call CRO to reduce it just to the days you need. It sounds wrong, but sometimes you have to play the game.:confused3

Rhonda is what I have and I'll be in touch with her tomorrow, thanks all, and I'll probably go to undercover tourist for passes if Rhonda can't help.Rob.....momaloya:my DW got a laugh from your quote"I used to be fun to look at,now just fun to watch"......please don't mind if she uses it,thanks.

Sure, take it, I stole it from someone else anyway. LOL
