Depends on which resort you are doing your Disney Internships & Programs experience at.
At the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, the Company will solicit applications several weeks before the end of the current semester. Applications will be judged on merit and projected recruiting needs. Participants will be informed of their status thereafter.
At the Disneyland Resort in California, the Company will distribute application information through all Disney Education Classes several weeks before the end of the current semester.
In both cases, successful applicants will be transfered into a non-paying postion with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S., Inc. Human Resources after their program has ended.
You will interview usually with the recruiter who is in charge of your school's presentations. I had mine with a local school, since presentations are done at ours.
It's very simple, and I heard back in e-mail form a few weeks after.
