How do you add tickets for FP+ on MDE mobile app?

We are going to be at WDW the week of Easter. My DH is traveling with my DS's marching band. They will not get their tickets until they arrive on Monday. He was wanting to know how would he set up FP+ for his group of 6 kids? Can he add them to his friends and family list and put the tickets number in and be able to choose FP's for them? He knows there may not be a lot left since they can't do the FP+ until they get the tickets. He thought if he could do the week as soon as they get the tickets he wouldn't have to stand at the kiosks to do it.

My question is can this be done and if so could you tell us how?
