How do we manage FP+ with a group of 12?

Three sets of families will be buying their own tickets. We'd like to try to go on at least some of the rides together without having to stand in long lines. Help!!

You can "invite" the other parties to join in the planning via your MDE accounts. I did this recently with 3 reservations. Some coordination is necessary but reserving FPs for 12 isn't a problem.

Does each party know their park schedule. If you're coordinated enough you can book your FPs then tell the others the rides and times to go after. If you all try at the same time I don't see why you wouldn't get close to the same times.
