How do to get Disney to Make it Right!?!?

I wasn't really talking about a room, but about the poster's example of not being congratulated. That would be an "extra" at any other hotel chain, but not at Disney. The prices Disney charges far exceed most others, so the extras (the "Pixie Dust" if you will) should be assumed.
Not every guest is staying in a WDW hotel. There aren't separate buttons for onsite vs offsite, or local, guests. But when you purchse a product - such as a hotel room, THAT'S what you're paying for. Sureoh you're not claiming pixie dust is only for onsite guests?

Disney offers onsite stays ranging from $71 per night, all the way into the thousand+ range. Many, many hotels charge more than some Disney resorts.

I never made any such claim. No offense, but perhaps you should learn to read.
Perhaps, then, you could clarify what you meant by:
That's the cast member's problem, not the guests. All the cast members are trained in the "Disney way". If they don't live up to that then Disney needs to lower their prices as they are not delivering what they claim.

You keep making claims and attributing them to me. You should really learn what some logic. And no, Disney does not offer any rooms for $71 per night. A "value" room during "value" season (which is practically non-existent at this time) will cost about $155 per night. You should do your homework before posting.

"Stays" and "rooms" arent necessarily synonymous. Fort Wilderness campsites start at $71. $80ish with tax.
All Star rooms are $113/$127ish some nights the rest of this year, but were as low as $105 at the beginning of the year.
When you pay for a hotel room, it's reasonable to expect a hotel room. When you pay for theme park admission, it's reasonable to expect theme park admission. It's not reasonable to expect more, including congratulations or pixie dust, although such occurrences may be bestowed upon one of more guests.
It's entirely unreasonable to suggest that any business reduce its prices because some guests do not receive what the business does not offer/promise.

Here's the problem, imho, with pixiedust. Because of social media, we all read about everyone else's' experiences. So, when we go to WDW, we all want the same things we heard others talking about. We all want Goody riding Barnstormer with us, want towel animals every day, free meals on our 'birthdays', etc. But, that's not going to happen. It can't. In fact, so many people are living owing for that extra pixiedust, CMs just can't make it happen! Birthday buttons used to be special. Guests wore them on their birthday, or pretty close to the actual day. Not 6 months later! Same thing with all the other 'I'm Celebrating' buttons. I've worn a button, on my birthday, and almost every CM wished me a happy birthday.
I expect a clean park, cheerful and helpful CMs, a well maintained room. If I get something extra, terrific. If not, no big deal. This whole 'I got pixedusted' thing is out of hand. If everything is special, nothing is truly special.
Disney is not the same as it was 10 yrs ago. CMs are trained differently nowadays. Things seem more lax.
I will say that I have seen more instances of guests looking for compensation for every little thing lately, than ever before. Yes, there are situations that warrant compensation. But seriously....you had an issue with your door lock and it took a bit of time to fix it, so you yell and scream until the resort manager says he'll put s $100 credit on your account? Really? I had the exact same issue, at the exact same time. I thanked the CMs who got it straightened out, finally, and went about my day...no credit for the well greased wheel! Some people just want compensation!

Well, you did say that about Disney training, and CM's not living up to the 'Disney way'! But you're way off base about value rooms. I have a room at Music, standard room, rack rate, that is $100 a night, in Nov. So, I'm not sure where you're getting your information...it's just flat out wrong. I have never, ever paid more than $130 for a value room....and that rate was for a preferred room, during a peak season. Got a room at Movies last spring for $80 a night, but that was an AP rate, but that is still what I paid, so those rates are available.

First, I never said anything like what was attributed to me. In fact I said I've never had a problem with CMs at WDW. Apparently one of the original posters did have issues. My point was (and is) that Disney is held to higher standards than (say) Six Flags. And they are held to higher standards for a reason... they charge much more than other hotels and/or other amusement parks. It's everyone's choice to pay or not, but Disney themselves claim to be superior and so they should be. And as far as the hotel prices go, I'm getting my information from what I paid for a room at Pop Century back in May. When all was said and done my nightly room rate was $153.75 per night.
