How do they make raisins?

I was just eating some, and I was wondering how they make them. I mean, I know what raisins are, but what is the process like that makes them raisins?

Anybody know?

hmmm...that's a good question for google - how are raisins made?

I think the grapes are put into a giant food dryer and most of the moisture is extracted.

BTW, I love that picture of your DS. He's adorable and that outfit is so cute. Oh, and your DH isn't bad either .

So, I've got some grapes in the fridge that are getting sort of old. If I threw them in the dryer with my next load of towels, do you think they would come out raisins?

They're put in a giant jacuzzi and made to sit there for hours until they shrivel up!

I heard they take grapes and stick them on Mission Space. The juice is extracted from the grape leaving a dried shriveled skin....much like my face when I'm on the ride.
